I saw that the University had high rankings positions and decided to apply here. In addition, as the first student from Algeria, I was offered to study free of charge. Tomsk is a quiet and cozy city, students feel here at home.
I would like to thank staff members of the Division for Material Sciences. Professor Buyakova after lectures always asked whether we understood everything and whether she should explain something in details, asked what language we were writing lectures.
We decided to transfer to Tomsk Polytechnic University since it is the top university in the field of nuclear physics. These four years at TPU gave much scientific experience. I participated in conferences and Olympiads, read interesting works of other students dedicated to Nuclear Physics
Ilyas Ezzahid came to Tomsk from Casablanca, an economic capital of Morocco. Now Ilyas studies at the Pre-university Course of Tomsk Polytechnic University, mastering Russian, improving mathematics, physics, chemistry and other subjects. His goal is to earn a degree in chemistry in Russia.

I enjoy the time spent in TPU laboratory. To be honest, I have not noticed any difference in the approach to the work by Russian and British scientists. The accommodation is fairly similar to my room last year at Oxford.

I studied economics and management in oil and gas industry at TPU. I liked studying, indeed, it was difficult sometimes. The teaching quality was at the highest level. Over the years of study I met a lot of good people, made many good friends. At the moment I have no desire to leave Tomsk.
